Assistant Development Coordinator
Classification: Full-time (40 hour work week), salaried, Exempt
Department: Development
Reports To: Executive Director and the Chair of the Casa’s Development Committee
Salary Range: $52,000 to $56,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Description: The Assistant Development Coordinator will support Casa del Herrero’s development goals by maintaining systems, tracking personal and institutional relationships and deadlines, managing date, assisting with proposals, conducting prospect and grant research work across teams to support timely submissions and relationships with grant makers and funders.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain development data in the monday.com database
-Coordintate donor recognition communications and administration
-Generate and analyze reports from development database
-Develop and monitor calendar of key reporting dates, manage on-time, high-quality reports and grant submissions
-May assist with grant writing or editing, as appropriate
-Work collaboratively to support development communications and events
-Assist with development and management of development collateral materials, mailings, and communications
Qualifications:
-Excellent attention to detail, organization, systems management as well as superior organizational and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines
-Highly motivated self-manager, ability to work within a team, ability to successfully communicate with a wide variety of individuals
-Strong interpersonal skills and professional ability to represent Casa del Herrero to donors, grant makers, and supporters
-Enthusiastic embrace of a fast-paced work style that involves a high degree of collaboration
-Positive attitude, openness to an organization that is quickly growing, evolving, and developing new initiatives and approaches
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
-1-3 years experiencing working in a non-profit office setting
-Strong database management and organizational skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
-Knowledge of database management software (DonorPerfect, Salesforce, monday.,com) preferred
-Ability to work full-time, in-person, including possible weekends and/or evenings as needed
-Ability to maintain confidential, sensitive information
-Excellent writing and communication skills
